aaaaaaaagh_skyMilliways is nice, especially about things like not making you deal with heights, but one can only stay there so long. Ellen's got her dad to find. Time might've stopped back home when she went into the Bar, but it pressed on her nonetheless.
She's made it through the Metro tunnels once again. The feral ghouls haven't had time to regroup since her run for the Museum; her path to Chevy Chase is almost clear. It's the passage through Early Dawn Elementary that unnerves her most, though. The wreckage of the pre-war school is littered with mutant corpses- and parts of mutant corpses, in more places than she likes to count. She's not sure whether she expects more to show up to avenge their fallen kin, or the dead to start crawling after her, or what, but she moves through the school as swiftly as she can. The mutilated mountainous bulk of the Behemoth lies just on the other side of the school doors, which sets her to shuddering; Reddin's corpse, and that of the fallen nameless Brother who carried the mini-nuke launcher, is gone. That's something, at least.
What's important now, though, is getting upstairs. Three Dog's equipment's already clued him in that she and Annabelle got the job done, so hopefully this'll go smoothly.
