Milliways is nice, especially about things like not making you deal with heights, but one can only stay there so long. Ellen's got her dad to find. Time might've stopped back home when she went into the Bar, but it pressed on her nonetheless.

She's made it through the Metro tunnels once again. The feral ghouls haven't had time to regroup since her run for the Museum; her path to Chevy Chase is almost clear. It's the passage through Early Dawn Elementary that unnerves her most, though. The wreckage of the pre-war school is littered with mutant corpses- and parts of mutant corpses, in more places than she likes to count. She's not sure whether she expects more to show up to avenge their fallen kin, or the dead to start crawling after her, or what, but she moves through the school as swiftly as she can. The mutilated mountainous bulk of the Behemoth lies just on the other side of the school doors, which sets her to shuddering; Reddin's corpse, and that of the fallen nameless Brother who carried the mini-nuke launcher, is gone. That's something, at least.

What's important now, though, is getting upstairs. Three Dog's equipment's already clued him in that she and Annabelle got the job done, so hopefully this'll go smoothly.

Ellen literally squeaks at the information. Quite probably because What the hell, I was just THERE!! would be a bit too complicated to get out at the moment. Still, moments pass; she nods. "All right," she says. "Then I'd better get to Rivet City before anything else happens."

At least she knows, now. And even if she could've found this Dr. Li if she'd stuck around Rivet City longer, well, the radio's broadcasting again, and the Wasteland can hear it. No more of that dead, flat silence that struck her when she ran across the Outcasts by mistake. So that's something, too...

Impulsively, she lunges at Three Dog with her arms open. Total stranger he may be, but that doesn't mean she can't hug him.

Three Dog is not unfamiliar with the idea of real physical human contact. Somewhere, in the back of his mind, he is vaguely aware that the right to hug is probably one of those great ideals he is fighting for.

Still, when Ellen grabs him it takes him a moment or two to recover, and figure out the motions. A pat on the back. Yes. Um. There.

"Hey. Uh."

A loss for words -- no, that never happens, he's a radio DJ. He's The Radio DJ. He clears his throat.

"Hey, any time you need a place to crash, duck in here. Be glad to provide."

Ellen flashes him a grin. "All right," she says. "And thank you again!"

With that she's gone; the faster she starts moving, the sooner she can get to Rivet City, after all.
